Can the camera be used outdoors?
Yes. The camera has IP43 outdoor rating. However, it is recommended to mount the camera under an eave.
Can the DVR monitor be used outdoors?
No. The DVR monitor is for indoor use only.

This is normal it is due to the nature of night vision infra-red LEDs.
